Hi, I’m Florine Mark. Many of you know me or have at least heard something about the company I’ve helped build – The Weight Watchers Group, Inc.
In case you think I’ve done nothing more than build a business, I’ll disprove it by simply telling you that I have five children, 24 grandchildren, and many great-grandchild.
These days, I seem to wear a lot of hats. And you know what? I am loving each and every one of them. It’s a lot of work, but I am very blessed to be in a business where I can help people getting healthy – physically as well as mentally.
Growing up overweight, I was unhappy and had low self-esteem. I tried almost every diet out there and nearly overdosed on diet pills. Shortly after that, I heard about Weight Watchers in New York. I saved all my money and travelled from Detroit to New York once a month to go to the meetings. This was one of the best things that ever happened to me!
I lost 40 pounds in four months. But, it took me one year to lose the last 10 pounds. It didn’t matter how much time it took to lose the weight. What meant the most to me was that I DID IT! My self-esteem soared and I felt empowered. This is what I want for everyone. And this is why I will continue to spend every day of my life encouraging others to eat healthy, maintain a healthy weight and exercise. It can help save your life.
It’s such an honored to be a part of Dine and Dish Nation. You can expect to get a monthly dose of motivation to accomplish a variety of goals you might have for your life. Perhaps, you want to eat healthier, lose weight, exercise more, or just be a happier person. Whatever it is, I will be here to support and encourage you along the way.
Love, Love, Love,
