Welcome to Dine & Dish Nation
Dine & Dish Nation is a weekly half-hour restaurant review television program and online experience that explores local eateries and culture through the eyes of real people from Detroit’s metro area.
Unlike most highbrow, “food-snob” programming, Dine & Dish Nation is as much about the region’s people and culture as it is about food. Make no mistake, we know and care deeply about food and “foodies” – but we also know that dining out locally is about sharing stories and experiences.
The Show That Tells – How It Works
Hosted by television personality Kam Carman, each episode of Dine & Dish features a fresh panel of three Detroit-area “foodies” discussing three distinct dining establishments. Participants submit their names/entries for the show online and are chosen based on range of factors – from their style and taste to personal stories.
Dine & Dish Nation’s featured establishments range from simple to extraordinary – everything from food trucks and family restaurants to spectacular high-end eateries, with a wide range of price points and cuisines. Each episode will showcase sampled dishes as well as the establishments’ menus, atmospheres, diverse histories and other distinct features that make them noteworthy.
